Qi Fang Colbert
Artist
Qi Fang Colbert is a Chinese artist and illustrator who lives in County Durham with her husband. In 2019 she completed a practice-led PhD research in Fine art at Newcastle University.
Her works encompass drawing, illustration, animation, and installation. With a strong sense of social and cultural critic, her works explore the conflicts between individuals and society, in particular around the dramatic social changes and cultural dislocations in modern day China.
